Who we are

Warlga Ngurra is a Specialist Homelessness Service that responds to the homeless or at risk of being homeless. We are a Women’s and children’s refuge offering emergency accommodation and support for women who are homeless due to domestic violence. We also offer court support, children’s activities, outreach support, advocacy, housing support, child support and referrals.

What we provide

Services/support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island clients and communities, Services/ support for Culturally And Linguistically Diverse, Multicultural clients and communities, Services/support for people with Disability, Services/support for LGBTIQA+ (people of diverse sexualities and genders), Services/support for Refugee and/or Migrant clients and communities, Accommodation, Housing, and/or homelessness support, Advocacy, Case work, Court support, Counselling, Domestic and/or family violence Services/support, Emergency Relief (food, vouchers etc), Family Services/support, Financial Services/support, Furniture, Goods, Clothing, personal resources, hygeine products etc., Parenting Programs, Refuge (Crisis accommodation), Training/Education: Respectful Relationships; Violence Prevention; DFV etc..., Trauma Informed Counselling

Housing supports

Crisis, refuge accommodation, Transitional accommodation, Tenancy advice/advocacy, Outreach Support for women at risk of homelessness

Referral Pathways

Self referral, Referral from medical services, Referral from legal services, Referral from social and/or community services, Referral from NSW Govt Agencies ie Dept Communities and Justice, Dept Education, Community Mental Health, Referral from DCJ
