Who should attend: DFV Frontline workers, Managers, IT Staff, Operations Managers etc.

This session is for sector workers only, it is not a session for clients or community members.

DATE: Tuesday 8 August

TIME: 1:30 - 3:30pm

VENUE: Hamilton North

RSVP Here by Friday 4 August

Please join us for an information session and Q&A with Dr Allon Uhlmann to discuss the DFV sector’s needs around tech-facilitated abuse and cyber security.

Allon has extensive experience in cybersecurity, intelligence, and surveillance, he is currently the Cybersecurity Lead at WorkVentures, Australia’s leading IT social enterprise.

What’s it about: This is not a workshop or training, it is an info sharing and scoping session to identify what support DFV services need to better understand, respond to, and mitigate tech-facilitated abuse, surveillance, and cyber abuse.

This is an opportunity for Allon to hear from you about:

  • What you are seeing and/or what your clients are experiencing in regard to DFV tech-facilitated abuse

  • The DFV sector’s priorities and needs in regard to information, support, and education around tech-facilitated abuse

  • Your organisation’s priorities and needs in regard to cyber-security and data security

He is also very happy to have a discussion and answer your questions about supporting women experiencing DFV tech-facilitated abuse.
